National Marriage Week 2011

In celebration of National Marriage Week, the Middle Georgia Community Healthy Marriage Initiative would like to invite you to participate in a week of exciting events for couples. National Marriage Week is a collaborative effort to encourage many diverse groups to strengthen individual marriages, reduce the divorce rate, and build a stronger marriage culture, which in turn benefits children  and helps curtail poverty. Together we can make more of an impact than working alone.  Please join in to host special events, launch a marriage class or home group.

Statistics have proven that couples who participate in some type of marriage enrichment program are more likely to have healthy marriages.  Our goal is to bring marriage enrichment tools to the community that will enhance families, our church community, our schools and our neighborhoods.

The benefits of participating in the events during National Week are: One free training and curriculum for the Lead Couple Facilitator, Free Training Materials, assistance with marketing your resource to the community and the ability to meet other couples who share the same vision which is to enhance marriages in your area of influence.

Community Wide -  Launching of 10 Great Dates with David & Claudia Arp

This fantastic resource is designed to help couples strengthen their marriage by inviting them to go on ten, fun-filled dates that will enrich their relationship.  These dates include topics such as: Making your Marriage a Priority, Learning to Talk, Resolving Conflict, Becoming an Encourager, Finding Unity in Diversity and Having a Creative Love Life.

We look forward to your partnership in creating healthy marriages in Middle Georgia!

Please have a representative to contact us if your church or group plans to participate on any level so that we can include the name of your organization and logo on the Community wide participants list. You may choose to just send couples from your church and not be a hosting church; that’s fine too.  Just let us know what your desired level of participation is and we can work with you.
